The Chinese Doctors Advanced Training Programme in North-West England

Thirty excellent doctors from different places of China were sent to England this September for the Chinese Doctors Advanced Training Programme in North-West England. They have successfully completed the three-months study in six hospitals around Manchester.

UK-Medu would like to express our sincere congratulations to the doctors. Everyone shouldered heavy responsibilities as members of the first cohort of this training programme. Excellence performance of the representatives of China's outstanding doctors will also be the key to initiate the medical exchange between China and hospitals in the UK.

All the participants cherished the clinical learning opportunity, learnt the advanced management concepts and medical technology abroad. We believe they will be able to provide better services to their hospitals and local people after returning home.

Doctor Liu Yang from Huashan Hospital of Fudan University, the group leader of the 30 doctors, expressed his gratitude to this opportunity for clinical training. He also mentioned that his hospital will actively carry out academic exchanges with it’t overseas counterparts.

During their training, the doctors’ performance won recognition from the medical institutes. We believe their learning results will also benefit their hospitals in China.

UK-Medu has engaged in building the exchange and cooperation platform for Chinese hospitals and the medical organisations in the UK, to provide help and support to hospitals in professional development training, to improve their administrative ability and service quality.
