Kevin Liu visited the first high energy proton cancer therapy centre in the UK with the invitation from Professor Karol Sikora, founder, and Mike Moran, CEO of Proton Partners International on 25th Aug 2020 to discuss about strategic collaborations and development in the future.

The advantages of using High Energy Proton Therapy: • The therapy uses high energy proton beam to shrink the tumors • It is currently the radiation therapy with the best treatment outcome and least side effects • Has the accuracy to target sensitive areas including brain, spine and vital organs • It is highly specific, helps minimize the damage done to the neighboring healthy cells • Can be used as supplementary treatment, for example along with chemotherapy and immunotherapy
